I’m Daniel Saaiman, a South African photographer and filmmaker with over 20 years of experience behind the camera. I’m currently the Media Manager at Val de Vie Estate, where I’ve worked for more than 10 years.

My work spans photography and film, from intimate portraits and personal projects to commercial, lifestyle and documentary work. I’m drawn to real moments, genuine emotion and the imperfections that give a story its character. Rather than chasing overly polished or staged imagery, I strive to create photographs and films that feel honest, natural and authentic, capturing people, places and stories as they really are.
