Just Human was my first photographic zine, exploring everyday life on the streets of the Western Cape. The project grew from a desire to photograph people and moments as they naturally unfolded — the ordinary, the unexpected and the quietly human moments that often go unnoticed. Shot across the Western Cape, the series looks beyond polished representations of the region to document its people, streets and everyday rhythms with honesty and intimacy. The project was published as a limited-edition softcover magazine, with the entire edition now sold out.
